The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence Management (MS AIM) empowers professionals to lead the future of AI-driven business. Designed for those who want to harness the power of large language models (LLMs) to solve real organizational challenges, this program blends technical insight with strategic, ethical, and managerial expertise.

Curriculum

The MS AIM program’s interdisciplinary curriculum builds graduates who are proven AI collaborators and applicators of AI. Designed to prepare students for managerial and leadership roles in the dynamic field of Artificial Intelligence, the program primarily focuses on LLMs for solving business challenges.

The program consists of a total of 30-31 credits; 10-11 credits of core leaning and 20 credits where students may apply electives or a specialized Lindner graduate certificate to build upon their impact.

This interdisciplinary program emphasizes the development of a range of business skills to design, deploy, and manage AI-driven solutions and strategies that address real-world challenges. Students will gain an understanding of leveraging AI tools and technologies for improving business performance across various business domains. The program will offer a valuable core in AI with customizable certificates in areas such as information systems, business analytics, and data science.

STEM-Designated

As a Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)-designated master’s program, the MS AI Management degree program is an ideal option for international applicants. Enriching the diverse student population and the greater community of the University of Cincinnati, international students who apply to the MS in Applied Economics can extend their training in the U.S. by 24 months after graduation.

The program culminates with options to complete a capstone experience based in a real-world business case study:

  1. Case Studies in Business Analytics offers project-oriented experiences and learning through deploying and managing AI-based systems. 
  2. AI Strategy & Operational Transformation offers a case study approach using applications of AI in business to build problem-solving and analytical skills.
