Consulting Accelerator
Fueled by momentum from consulting-focused student organizations and growing interest from students pursuing consulting careers, Lindner established the Consulting Accelerator to create a structured pathway into management consulting, one of business’s most competitive fields.
Through a combination of academic learning, professional development and real-world experiences, the cohort-based accelerator helps students build the skills, confidence and connections needed to pursue consulting co-op and full-time opportunities.
Industry Overview
Consulting professionals help organizations solve complex challenges across strategy, operations, technology, growth and transformation. The field attracts students who enjoy fast-paced environments, cross-industry work and problem-solving.
Because consulting recruiting timelines move quickly, preparation often begins well before students apply for co-ops or full-time roles. Many opportunities are secured 14 to 16 months in advance, making early career exploration and skill development essential.
The Consulting Accelerator helps students understand the industry, prepare for recruiting and approach opportunities with a stronger foundation.
A structured pipeline and program for students is critical to get students to think about problem solving in the way that you do in a consulting environment.

Student Testimonials
Lindner alumni who had co-ops in the consulting industry and now work full-time as consultants relay their experience:
“You have the ability to work on complex problems with senior clients. I’ve multiple experiences working with CEOs, CFOs and other C-suite figures on their decision-making processes. The ability to do that three months after graduation is something I don’t think you can get many other places.” — Austin Castle, BBA ’25
“Consulting pushes you to grow. Your communication, leadership and problem-solving skills all level up. Those skills stay with you no matter where your career goes.” — Sofia Parisotto Ferrigolo, BBA, BS ’26
