Candidates for admission from other accredited colleges and universities must be in good standing in the college from which they are transferring (i.e., they cannot be on probation, suspension, or dismissal) and must meet the admission requirements as set by the College of Business. Students who plan to attend a two-year college prior to their transfer to the college should complete a Pre-Business Associate of Arts degree program rather than a technical terminal program. The College of Business has transfer articulation agreements with UC's Clermont College and Raymond Walters College, along with other community and technical colleges. Students planning to transfer from these colleges should maintain regular contact with the pre-business advisor on their campus to make sure they are taking the right classes to transfer to the UC College of Business. Students interested in transferring into the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management degree program should contact the College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office for advising, 513-556-7030. Transfer and transition students must provide an official transcript from each college or university attended, including work from other divisions of the University of Cincinnati. Students with fewer than the equivalent of 45 quarter hours of earned college-level course work must also supply high school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores. These students will be considered for admission as transfer students based on the relevant first-year admission criteria (including ACT or SAT scores, high school GPA and rank in class) and the applicable transfer admission requirements. Students Changing Colleges within UC Applicants to the College of Business must meet or exceed each of the admission requirements stated below. Please note that the collegiate grade point average for transfers from other UC colleges is calculated utilizing all college-level course work attempted at each college and university attended. 1. Cumulative collegiate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale over all course work attempted. 2. Must demonstrate appropriate progress toward completion of the required mathematics courses. All College of Business students must complete Math 224 (Fundamentals of Applied Calculus) OR Math 225 (Finite Math), and Math 226 (Applied Calc I) and 227 (Applied Calc II) (a 9 hour math sequence) or its equivalent, OR Math 251 (Calculus I) and Math 252 (Calculus II - 4 hrs) or the equivalent from another institution. 3. Must be in good standing in current UC college. Conditional offers of admission will be made using transcripts with courses in progress. A final transcript is required before the student is allowed to enroll. Applications for Change in College and Program may be obtained in the Undergraduate Programs Office, Suite 105, Lindner Hall or in any UC college office. Application deadlines are as follows: Autumn Quarter - August 15 Spring Quarter - February 15 Winter Quarter - November 15 Summer Quarter - May 15 All applications for the College of Business must be submitted to Suite 105 Lindner Hall. The College of Business accepts transition students to begin in the autumn, winter, spring or summer quarter. Students applying for autumn or winter quarter admission must meet the above admission requirements by the end of the quarter prior to admission. Students applying for spring or summer quarter admission must meet the above admission requirements by the end of the autumn quarter (spring admission) or at the end of the winter quarter (summer admission). Transfers from Other Colleges and Universities Students wishing to transfer to the College of Business from colleges and universities other than the University of Cincinnati must meet or exceed each of the requirements stated below.
