Teaching Performance Excellence

The Center offers an elective course entitled Managing for Quality and High Performance (OM 771) and Introduction to Six Sigma and Process Improvement (OM 772) at the MBA level as well as the first required undergraduate course in the operations management focus concentration for the BBA degree.   OM 771 satisfies the requirements for the MBA Capstone.

OM 771 is being offered in the Spring of 2009.  See the QAOM Department web pages for more information on class schedules.

An integral part of OM 771 is a student team project. Past projects have included Baldrige assessment activity for local organizations.  In the spring of 2009, we will partner with The Christ Hospital, which is beginning a Baldrige journey toward performance excellence.  We are always willing to partner with any organization in this fashion.  Please contact Jim Evans if you are interested.
