As a member of the Microsoft Academic Alliance, the College of Business has select Microsoft software products available for distribution to students.

Currently we are distributing:*

All software provided by the MSDNAA agreement such as

* Distribution of Microsoft software under the MSDN Academic Alliance is limited to College of Business students taking Information Systems. Students must obtain special login credentials before downloading software. Login credentials will only be issued after verifying the status of the student.

The content on the MSDNAA site is in a special Secure Download Content (SDC) format per the MSDNAA agreement.  Once the SDC is downloaded it will be converted into an ISO CD (or DVD image).

What is an ISO CD Image?
Products posted to MSDN Subscriber Downloads are usually posted as ISO image files. An ISO image file is an exact representation of a CD or DVD, including the content and the logical format. ISO files from MSDN end with either an .ISO or .IMG extension. The extension might need to be changed to work with your CD writing software.

Common utilities for writing an ISO file to recordable media such as CD-R include ISORecorder, Nero, and Roxio. The contents of images files can be extracted to hard drive using utilities such as ISObuster or DaemonTools. Image files can be mounted locally using the Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel for Windows XP. For more information about image files, please visit the MSDN FAQ.

Please Contact Robert Rokey to obtain login credentials. Once your login is established, you may visit the software distribution site to download software.
