Financing Your MS-IS Degree

To help you pay for your degree, the University of Cincinnati offers various financial aid programs.

A limited number of University Graduate Scholarships (UGS) are reserved for qualified students based on academic performance, GRE/GMAT score, and job-related skills without regard to financial need. All full-time students are automatically considered, therefore, no scholarship application is required. This aid may be in the form of fellowships or scholarships which require no service to the college.

A limited number of University Graduate Assistantships (UGA) are reserved for full-time students. UGAs will be awarded based on job-related skills, work experience, GRE/GMAT score and academic performance without regard to financial need. All full-time students are also automatically considered, therefore, no assistantship application is required.

Several need-based financial assistance programs are also available to qualified students. Eligibility is determined through the needs analysis system required by the federal government. The Financial Aid Form is available from the Graduate Programs Office. The self-reported information in your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be used to decide eligibility. You may submit your FAFSA via the Internet.
