MBA Scholarship Information

To help you pay for your degree, the University of Cincinnati offers various financial aid programs. A limited number of tuition scholarships are reserved for qualified Masters students based on academic performance, GMAT score, and years of work experience without regard to financial need. All full-time prospective students submitting an application prior to January 15th will be automatically considered, therefore, no scholarship application is required. This aid may be in the form of fellowships or scholarships that require no service to the college.

The Albert C. Yates Fellows and Scholars Program
This merit-based award is available to applicants who are members of underrepresented groups by the Office of the University Dean for Graduate Studies following the recommendation of the department. The graduate programs office at the College of Business must nominate applicants for these awards and they are notified once awards are made. Applicants may request that they be nominated, however the graduate programs office will decide based on the strength of the applicant.

Recipients of the Yates fellowship can receive a living stipend and a full tuition scholarship (including full tuition for out-of-state residents) and waiver of general fees for four terms. Some Yates Fellowship winners can also receive a graduate assistantship position for 10 hours per week.

Interested applicants should submitted their complete UC MBA application by January 1.

University Graduate Scholarships
University Graduate Scholarship (UGS) are merit-based awards available on a limited basis to incoming full-time students. These awards range from a percentage of your tuition to full tuition. UGS require no service contribution.

  • Merit-based UGS's can be awarded based on your undergraduate performance (3.5 GPA and higher), GMAT scores (600 GMAT and higher).
  • All complete applications received by the Early Admission Deadline (January 15) will be automatically considered for UGS awards on a first come, first served basis. All others are reviewed depending on the availability of funds.
Approximately 30-55% of students in the MBA program receive scholarships.
