The Part-time UC MBA Program is designed for working professionals who would like to continue their current career while obtaining their MBA. The features of this program were developed recognizing the unique needs and opportunities provided by a class of experienced working professionals.
Students in the program have a wealth of past experience to relate to course material and an ability to immediately apply their new education in their workplace. This key feature generates a rich classroom experience, full of insights from a wide variety of industry perspectives and experiences.
Two-Year Completion Time
Attending classes two evenings a week, the program can typically be completed in two years (8 quarters).
Flexible Sequencing of Courses
With the exception of the first set of fundamental courses and a few of the functional courses, students have the flexibility to take courses within a block. This flexibility recognizes that working professionals, at times, may not be able to carry a typical part-time load. Students are still able to complete the program in a timely manner even if they must carry a reduced load or skip a quarter due to career constraints.
