In 1990, the College of Business and College-Conservatory of Music established a joint program leading to the degrees Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MAA). Students admitted to the joint program may earn both degrees in two years. This is only one quarter longer than is required to earn the MAA.
The program is designed for the student to spend both years working on MBA and MAA course work simultaneously. The majority of the MBA course work will be taken in the evening or on Saturdays with part-time MBA students. Two Arts Administration Summer Internships will be completed in the summers after the first and second years of study. The joint program ia available only to students pursuing degrees on a full-time basis.
