Procter & Gamble Business Leadership Program for Honors-PLUS Students

The Procter & Gamble Business Leadership Program provides comprehensive leadership development for UC College of Business honors students and young P&G Professionals. This tremendous offering is required in the Lindner Honors-PLUS Program.

Program:

First Component (typically completed Freshman Year)

Camp Bearcat – This two-day, October institute helps freshmen build fundamental leadership skills and a supporting network and progress toward initial campus and community roles.

Leadership Cincinnati: Encouraging a Commitment to Community Service (first session) – This is an innovative, student version of the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce program, which is designed to prepare top executives to be effective community citizens. Session is for one afternoon (date/time will be announced in email at least one month in advance).

Second Component (typically completed Sophomore Year)

LeaderShape Institute – This six-day, summer institute, co-sponsored by the UC Alumni Association, helps develop students' vision and capabilities to enable principled leadership.

Personal Development and Leadership (22-MGMT-393H) – This interactive, challenging course (3 crs.) fosters vital leadership understandings, models and reflective skills.

Third Component (typically completed Pre-Junior, Junior or Senior Year)

Leadership Cincinnati Sessions: Each session is for one afternoon. Dates/times will be announced in email at least one month in advance. Session Topics:

    • Fine Arts
    • Human Services
    • Economic Development
    • Government

Fourth Component (typically completed spring quarter Junior or Senior Year)

Executive Forum – During this three-credit seminar, students interact with CoB deans and business executives, systematically exploring alternative leadership philosophies and styles.
