JOB POSTING - Director, Goering Center for Family and Private Business
The Board of Directors is seeking a proven leadership executive to be Director of the Goering Center.
Founded in 1988 with an endow-ment by John and Gloria Goering to the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, the Center is dedicated to business success and successful intra-family succession of family owned businesses through programs providing awareness, education and support services.
As Chief Executive Officer of a 501 C 3 non-profit entity and reporting to the Board of Directors the Director will be responsible for the fiscal viability and leadership of this volunteer based community institution, domiciled in the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati.
Compensation: Competitive non-profit salary plus bonus potential (0-30%) depending on performance. Achievement and psychic wage: Boundless! :)

The Goering Center, as part of the University of Cincinnati, also advances research in the area of best practices for family firms, and offers one of the few programs in the country as an undergraduate integral concentration in the area of Family Business/Entrepreneurship.
Partnership
The Center publishes the Family Business Report authored by community leaders focusing on timely topics of interest to family and private firms. It appears in the Business Courier on the third Friday of February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October and November. Center members receive a complimentary weekly subscription to the Business Courier, as well as receiving reduced advertising rates.
