International Video Conferencing: World Marketing

Course:  International Marketing, 22INTB571
When:    Fall Quarter

Students have the option of taking a special section of World Marketing, which includes a distance-learning component with the University of Tampere in Finland. The class meets regularly during fall quarter. For one month during that time, students interact with Finnish students through video-conferencing, exchanging ideas and information and working on a cross-cultural project.

Course: Managing Virtual Teams, 22INTB535
When:   Spring Quarter

Spring quarter, students can gain experience working on cross-cultural teams by taking Managing Virtual Teams, which involves a video conferenced component with Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria.  During this course, students develop teamwork and cross-communication skills by working virtually with Austrian students using video conference technology, email and other tools to analyze cases and to do research.
