College of Business freshman participate in a two-quarter course - Management Skills Practicum. The course includes three, interwoven components:
- Key Concepts and Best Practices
Each week, Professor Mary Gorman leads lectures and discussions focused on today's business environment and critical business terms and functions.
- Student Teams
During breakout sections, students work with a highly selective group of student Teaching Assistants, focusing on Project Fast Track and interactive exercises.
- Company Liaison Visits
Throughout fall quarter, liaisons from our Fast Track companies make three scheduled visits to share information about their company's history, challenges and opportunities. The majority of companies also provide tours.
