PhD education in Marketing focuses on developing the student's research skills. Averaging in size of about eight students, the program is small enough to allow for direct mentoring relationships with faculty, but is large enough for students to have meaningful interactions with each other both inside and outside the classroom seminars. Given a strong foundation in Marketing, students are free to select an area in which they choose to focus their studies and dissertation research. Students typically develop working relationships with faculty that result in co-authored publications during their program. Students leave well prepared to conduct independent research and teach at top-tier universities.
