The Department of Management translates faculty expertise into innovative, experience-based programs. At the Undergraduate level, the department supports three Integral Concentrations. First, the Managing in a Changing Environment Integral develops students' abilities to deal with intricate and fluid situations by helping build critical thinking, communication, coordination, and planning skills. Second, the Entrepreneurship and Family Business Integral provides cross-functional insights into launching and operating small businesses. Third, International Business includes timely offerings in international management and managing cultural differences.
At the Graduate level, management faculty support MBA and PhD programs. The MBA program includes vital core courses in organizational behavior and strategic management, as well as management and entrepreneurship field studies. The Management PhD program is dedicated to developing tomorrow's scholars. Through graduate coursework, independent studies, doctoral seminars, informal faculty and peer interaction, and laboratory and field research, students develop a strong knowledge base across varied domains of management.
