The IS faculty are actively engaged in conducting high-impact research on a range of issues, including: data modeling, web-based searches, management of offshore outsourcing, valuation of online content, organizational impacts of information technology, trust in e-commerce, and IT architecture. The results of this research have been published in the leading academic journals in the field of information systems such as MIS Quartely, Information Systems Research, and Journal of Management Information Systems, as well as in more specialized publications such as Very Large Data Base Journal. The faculty is also involved in writing textbooks in different areas of information systems.
Finally, they serve on the editorial boards of leading journals such as MIS Quartely, Data Base, and JAIS (Journal of the Association for Information Systems), and are regularly invited to serve on the program committees of major conferences in the field such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and ACM Workshop on Web, Information and Data Management.
