Welcome to the Information Systems Department at the College of Business , University of Cincinnati . Our programs and courses are specifically designed to prepare students to propose, design, implement, and manage technological solutions to complex business problems. We offer students comprehensive education in the various dimensions of information systems including database management, systems analysis and modeling, data communications and networking, web-based applications development, data warehousing, and the management of IS projects. Strong partnerships with multiple technology companies including Dell, Microsoft, IBM, SAP, Computer Associates, and Oracle mean that our students have access to state-of-the-art software and hardware in our courses and computer labs. In addition, field projects and experience-based education offer students the opportunity to apply classroom training in practical situations, making them well prepared to be immediately productive upon graduation.
