A Wealth of Opportunities

Our undergraduate program provides students with an array of academic opportunities:

  • The College offers the BBA with 40 possible combinations among our 5 focus concentrations and 8 integral concentrations. Innovative programs in Aviation, Digital Business, Entrepreneurship/Family Business, International Business, and Product Development/Supply Management supplement standard programs in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, and Real Estate.
  • The revised BBA program provides enough electives that CoB students can undertake a third business concentration or an outside minor in Arts & Sciences.
  • If none of the existing integral concentrations meet a student's needs, an Individualized Integral may be designed.

Real World Experience & Leadership

  • The Professional Practice (Co-Op) program has been providing generations of business students with paid real-world professional experience. CoB Co-Op students leave the College with their bachelor's degree and at least a full year's paid experience. Their Co-Op employers hire many of these students after graduation.
  • CoB students gain valuable leadership experience throughout the UC campus, regularly serving as organization presidents, Student Senators, and student representative to the UC Board of Trustees. They regularly capture such awards as Homecoming King and Queen, Mr. Bearcat, and numerous other honors and scholarships.

A Global Launching Pad on the Ohio

  • CoB students further their portfolio of experiences by studying in:
    • Nantes, France
    • Linz, Austria
    • Toulouse, France
    • Louvain, Belgium
    • Chiang Mai, Thailand
    • Queretaro, Mexico
    • Montreal, Canada
    • Santiago, Chile
    • Guatemala
    • Beijing and Chengdu, China

A growing number of CoB students are incorporating an overseas experience into their academic program. We can help make this an affordable reality.

Imagine having been President of the student Financial Management Association, graduating from the College with a BBA in Finance & International Business, along with a minor in Spanish, having spent part of a quarter studying in Chile, combined with four quarters of Co-Op experience with a major bank! That student could be you@UC!
