BBA Majors

The BBA programs seek to provide students with a broad liberal arts experience; an option in foreign language, global area studies and study abroad; a major area of study with the possibility of adding a second major or concentration in a secondary business discipline; and an emphasis on global issues. Each major includes a series of knowledge-and skill-development core courses in the business functions to give students a breadth of knowledge, in addition to the depth of understanding within their selected major. The degree culminates in a rigorous capstone course. Majors are available in the following disciplines:

Beginning in the autumn of 2008, all students admitted to CoB, with the exception of those in the Lindner-Honors PLUS and Kolodzik Business Scholars programs, are admitted as “pre-majors” and must earn their way into a major.

Current students who are on the General Education curriculum (focus/integral concentrations) are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor as soon as possible. The CoB advising staff is committed to working with continuing students to design individual advising plans which will clarify their requirements for graduation and minimize the impact of these changes on their degree plans. Printed information is available in the Undergraduate Programs Office, Suite 105 Lindner Hall.
