As pre-majors in the College of Business, the first step toward a degree is the successful completion of a series of general knowledge courses. These courses provide a core of knowledge that prepares students for participation in the upper-division program. Once the following preparatory courses are completed, students achieve junior-level status and may apply to transition into their desired majors. They are then eligible to register for upper-division business courses (any course numbered 300 or higher).
Students are also required to complete 18 credit hours to fulfill the language/global area studies/study abroad requirement.
* Students who fail to complete these courses before enrolling in junior core and higher level business classes will be dropped from said higher level courses.
** Transfer students may substitute free elective hours for BA-141, 142, 143.
