The Student Ambassadors of the College of Business offer two scholarships. The purpose of which is to reward and recognize students who best exemplify the qualities of a College of Business Student Ambassador.
THE FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIP
To be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must have completed the freshman year here in the College of Business. The scholarship will be up to $1,500, and will be distributed evenly over three quarters of the next academic year. The winner will be recognized at the annual Ambassador Dinner in May.
THE FOUNDERS SCHOLARSHIP
To be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must be completing their sophomore, pre-junior, or junior year in the College of Business. They must be enrolled and have completed at least two quarters in the College of Business. The scholarship will be up to $1,500, and will be distributed evenly over three quarters of the next academic year. The winner will be recognized at the annual Ambassador Dinner in May.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Student must have accumulative grade point average of 3.0 and be in good academic standing with the College of Business Administration.
- Student must have demonstrated service to the College and the University as well as the community.
- Student must have completed, in the College of Business, the Fall and Winter Quarters of this academic year for the Freshman Scholarship, and any two quarters for the Founders Scholarship.
- Student will be expected to become a Student Ambassador.
- Award based on above criteria (1-4).
- Scholarships based on above criteria (1-4), plus financial need.
- Winner must maintain 3.0 GPA and remain in the College of Business Administration for the duration of the Scholarship
Applications will be accepted during the month of April.
Winners will be notified in June.
