Ric Sweeney, MBA

Ric Sweeney, MBARic Sweeney is a member of the Marketing Department Faculty in the University of Cincinnati's College of Business. Ric is also the Faculty Advisor for the UC Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association, BANG: Bearcat Advertising and Networking Group, and the UC Student Government Ways & Means Committee. His background includes experience in a variety of marketing disciplines, including branding, advertising, market research, product development, services marketing, and measurement/tracking in numerous product/service industries, including banking, healthcare and foodservice equipment/supplies.

Ric is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Marketing Association and and member of the Board of Trustees for the American Marketing Association Foundation. Ric previously served as a member of the AMA Finance & Audit Committee and was President of the AMA's Professional Chapters Council, serving on that Council from 2002-2007. Ric is a past-President of the Cincinnati Chapter of the AMA and continues to serve on the Cincinnati AMA's Past-Presidents Council. Locally, Ric is involved with the Fine Arts Fund and is part of the Arts Resource Committee for the development of marketing programs and workshops for arts clients in the Cincinnati region.
