Sidney L. Barton, PhDProfessor Barton has a PhD in Strategic Managment from Indiana University. After graduating from UC with a BS in Mechanial Engineering, he worked for 13 years with Structural Dynamics research Corporation and achieved a position as Vice President and officer of the corporation. He has been at UC for 17 years during which time he has published extensively in the strategy and family business literature. He has also consulted with numerous corporations, (public, private and non-profit)on strategic management and family business planning issues.
