 John Morris is the Chief Operations Officer and Director of Education at the Economics Center for Education & Research. John oversees day-to-day operations of all of Center activities focused on educational outreach into the K-12 community, while also coordinating staffing and daily financial operations.
Prior to joining the Center in 2005, John was a principal of Entrepreneurship High School in the Cincinnati Public School district. Prior to focusing on education, John spent most of his professional life as an entrepreneur and has owned or co-owned over a dozen companies.
John holds a B.S. in Marketing from Wright State University, and a Master's Degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship Education from the University of Delaware.
John was recognized in 2007 with the Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise Education and continues to work on the development of new engaging offerings each year. He supports various departments in the College of Business by teaching different undergraduate and graduate courses each quarter.
