The Goering Center, as part of the University of Cincinnati, also advances research in the area of best practices for family firms, and offers one of the few programs in the country as an undergraduate integral concentration in the area of Family Business/Entrepreneurship.

The Center publishes the Family Business Report authored by community leaders focusing on timely topics of interest to family and private firms. It appears in the Business Courier on the third Friday of February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October and November. Center members receive a complimentary weekly subscription to the Business Courier, as well as receiving reduced advertising rates.
