Dr. Dong-Gil Ko is an assistant professor in the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. He holds a doctorate in Information Systems from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, MBA in International Business from the George Washington University, and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining UC, he held academic positions at the Carnegie Mellon University and Indiana University. His current research focuses on the transfer of knowledge, the exercise of control, and the use of systems for improving the management, performance, and impact of IS-related projects. His published research articles appear in several scholarly journals. Dr. Ko is an active member of the Academy of Management and the International Conference on Information Systems, and has presented the results of his research in several conferences. He has over eight years of industry experience as an IS consultant to large organizations working for the DoD, SAIC, and Accenture.
