UC Management Professor Honored with Academy of Management Review Award

• Dr. Suzanne Masterson, associate professor of management was honored for her contributions to the Academy of Management Review at the Academy of Management annual conference in August.

The Academy of Management Review has bestowed the honor of 2009 Outstanding Reviewer on UC associate professor of management, Dr. Suzanne Masterson at the Academy of Management's annual conference in Chicago last month. Masterson has served as a reviewer for the Academy of Management Review for the past year. Her role required her to review manuscripts throughout the year for inclusion in the journal.

Considered the premier publication for theoretical work that spans management sub-areas and disciplines, the Academy of Management Review honors only a select group of reviewers each year for their outstanding work and service to the journal. Reviewers are rated on each review they submit and top reviewers were recognized at the Luncheon Meeting of the Academy of Management's annual conference in Chicago, Illinois, August 7-11.

Masterson will continue to serve as a reviewer for the journal as part of her three year term.
