 David R. Anderson is a Professor Emeritus of Quantitative Analysis. He has been on the UC faculty for over 27 years. He has co-authored six textbooks and two software packages. His best known works include An Introduction to Management Science, 7th Edition, and Statistics for Business and Economics, 5th Edition, both co-authored with Dennis J. Sweeney and Thomas A. Williams. His teaching awards include the College's Excel Award for outstanding undergraduate teaching and four-times the MBA Association's best teacher award. Other awards include the University's Barbour Award, the College's Grilliot Award for student activities, and the Outstanding CBA Faculty Member of 1988 from the CBA Alumni Association. Dr Anderson has twice been head of the Department, 1972-1974 and 1990-1994.
