Admission to the College

New Freshmen

Freshmen applicants hoping to begin in the autumn quarter are urged to submit their applications online at www.admissions.uc.edu before December 15 of the previous year. Applications should be filed as early in the academic year as possible. First-year students must provide an official transcript of their high school record and scores from the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing (ACT) program. The College of Business admits new freshmen to begin in the autumn, winter or spring quarter.

Transfer and Transition Students

Transfer/transition students must provide an official transcript from each college or university attended, including work from other divisions of the University of Cincinnati, as well as high school transcripts. Students with fewer than the equivalent of 45 quarter hours of earned college-level course work will be considered for admission as transfer students based on the relevant first-year admission criteria (including ACT or SAT scores, high school GPA and rank in class) and the applicable transfer admission requirements.

Students applying for admission to the College of Business from other UC Colleges should complete a “Change in College Application” form. This document may be obtained in College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office (Suite 105, Lindner Hall) or from any UC college office.
