For recent graduates of UC's Master of Science in Marketing program, these dreams are becoming realities.Many MS-Marketing students are developing their careers in Advertising, Market Research and many other Marketing-related fields.
Lauren Adduci (2007) is a Client Strategy Associate at Empower MediaMarketing.
Mary Beth Berberich (2007) is a Senior Retail Designer/Strategist for RGI, Inc., a full-service marketing and branding firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has been a member of the American Marketing Association for the past four years and in 2009-2010, Mary Beth serves as the Chairperson of Volunteer Committee for the Cincinnati Chapter.
Amber Bouts (2007) is an Internet Marketing Specialist at Yodle (Charlotte, NC).
Melanie Cannon (2009) is Senior Graphic Designer, UC's College of Arts & Sciences.
Nate Carney (2006) returned to Cincinnati from Seattle to join Bridge Worldwide, one of the industry's leading relationship marketing agencies. At Bridge, Nate works with a variety of clients on offline and online relationship-building campaigns, including work on websites, email newsletters, banner advertising and other strategic initiatives.
Diana Coffey (2009) is a research analyst at Directions Research.
Stephanni Cohen (2009) is the Design and Marketing Director, City of Cincinnati Recreation Commission.
Roger Cole (2008) is a Product Manager at SENCO Products. Roger is in charge of $150+ million in annual product sales for fasteners and pneumatic accessories. His latest project is discovering how changes in packaging and product positioning can renew 40-year old “mature” products and resurrect their life cycles in new markets.
Dennis Devlin (2006) is an independent marketing research consultant and an adjunct (marketing research) instructor at UC.
Franck Dibangoup (2006) is a bilingual demand analyst at Colgate Palmolive (Dallas, TX).
Rui Ding (2007) is in the management program of Coats China.
Daniel Ellis (2008) is currently working for ACP Magazines in his hometown of Sydney, Australia. Daniel is part of the Retail Sales & Distribution team, and is responsible for managing the newsagent retail contracts for Australia's largest magazine publisher.
David Hess (2009) is Lead Graphic Designer at Cincomm Systems.
Regina Hoell (2007) is with St. Luke's Hospital in PR/Marketing and a professional voice-over talent.
Chih-Chen Huang (2007) is a Product Marketing Specialist for SPSS Taiwan.
Divya Kaur (2007) is currently working as a senior project analyst with Nielsen Analytic Consulting Division of The Nielsen Company (in New York City).
Sarah Kennedy (2007) is a Senior Associate Client Services Communications & Media at dunnhumby USA.
Marcel Kleiner (2008) is a Project Leader at LPK Sàrl in Geneva, Switzerland. Marcel works on the Olay and Always brands with responsibility for Western Europe and CEEMEA regions.
Rachel Knighton (2007) currently works at Procter and Gamble as an Associate Manager in the Consumer-Market Knowledge area.
Shyam Krishnan (2008) is working as an Industry Analyst with growth consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. He is a part of the Information and communication technologies domain, and focuses on research in those areas. He has been engaged in various research and consulting projects as part of his position and leverages his learnings from the MS-Marketing program as part of his career in market research and consulting.
Adrianne (Triplett) Lambert (2007) is a Strategic Planner at Rivet (St. Louis).
Kelly Martin (2007) is the Director of Business Development for Senior Health & Housing Services for Mercy Health Partners. In this position, she oversees the public & community relations, communication, branding and advertising for eight locations - covering Cincinnati, New Albany (IN) and Louisville. She is also over marketing for Mercy Healthy Weight Solutions, Mercy's bariatric medical/surgical program.
Tara Meier (2008) currently works as a marketing assistant at McCorkell & Associates, a full service marketing agency in Sydney Australia. Most of Tara's clients are in the IT Industry. Some of the client campaigns she is working on include Toshiba, Autodesk, TrendMicro, Gartner, Salesforce.com, and Wacom. Her responsibilities include event work, direct mail and EDM campaigns, database management, and linking work with the contact center.
Jordan Michel (2006), recipient of the Outstanding MS-marketing Student award, received his Professional Research Certification from the MRA and was recently promoted to Project Manager II at e-Rewards Market Research in Dallas. He recently began coursework for a professional certificate in sustainability from Southern Methodist University's Lyle School of Engineering and hopes to couple this knowledge with his marketing experience to take his career in a new direction.
Kurt Myers (2009) is a Supervisor with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Luke Nycz (2006) is Senior Brand Manager at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare responsible for alli, the only EU-licensed OTC weight loss drug. Luke is based in Warsaw, Poland.
Ashley Pino (2007)currently works for MatchPoint in Pittsburgh, a branding agency specializing in retailing and targeted consumer promotions.
Miguel Sanchez (2009) is a Rehaviorist at northlich.
Trina Schapker (2008) is Assistant Development Director at Elder High School.
Elaine Skeldon (2008) is an Account Director at WonderGroup, a 360 digital advertising agency in Cincinnati. She manages the integrated strategy, execution and client relationships for multiple national accounts like Kellogg's, Evenflo, and Topps, Inc.
Tom Smith (2008) is President of Prime Target Direct.
Patty Tomley (2007) works for Mercy Health Partners as Regional Business Development Director - East and HealthPlex.
Curtis Whitacre (2007) is an Associate Public Information Officer for the College Conservatory of Music.
Staying Connected
Current students and graduates of the MS-Marketing program continue to build their network of professional contacts through their own group on www.linkedin.com, allowing them to remain in contact and build lasting relationships with each other.
The UC Marketing Department sponsors a quarterly Lunch-and-Learn meeting that is attended by MS-Marketing students, alumni and faculty. In the fall, the annual Marketing Summit brings MS-Marketing students, alums and faculty together with over 300 other marketing professionals.
College of Business Career Services Office
With the help of an active Placement Office, graduates from the College of Business have opportunities to find positions in many companies, both in the Cincinnati-area as well as nationally and globally.
