Marvin P. Kolodzik Business Scholars Program Details

Kolodzik Business Scholars personalize their academic plan. Providing varied coursework and experiential options, and preserving elective opportunities maximizes program flexibility.

To graduate as a Kolodzik Business Scholar, students complete the following requirements:

BSP Fast Track PresentationFast Track: Freshmen take linked courses in the Kolodzik Business Scholars learning community, study a top Cincinnati firm in Project Fast Track, and examine career opportunities and personal interests to customize their academic plans.  

Coursework Options: Students may take dedicated Kolodzik Business Scholars seminars and sections, and shared classes with Lindner Honors-PLUS.

Experiential Options: Students complete professional and themed options.

    • Professional: co-op OR an approved internship/work experience
    • Theme Immersion: students complete at least ONE of the following:
      • Globalization: Study Abroad
      • Innovation/Collaboration: Innovation Studio or Field Study
    • If only one of the above is chosen, students choose one of the following:
      • Substantial extra-curricular leadership activity (approved)
      • Substantial volunteer/community service (approved)

The Procter & Gamble Business Leadership Program: Kolodzik Business Scholars are encouraged to participate in P&G sponsored events, such as Camp Bearcat for freshmen, the LeaderShape Institute, and a dedicated leadership and personal development seminar.

The Cintas Business Professional Development Program – business etiquette, career planning and communications seminars enable added preparation for career success.
