 Dr. Prabhakar is the academic director of the MS-Information Systems program. In Spring 2004, he was designated an SAP Fellow in Enterprise Systems. As the lead SAP fellow, he has been spearheading the integration of ERP related oncepts in the graduate and undergraduate business curriculum. Dr. Prabhakar has ongoing research projects on the IS job market, IT Assessment and Online Communities. His reseacrh has been published in The Communications of the ACM, The DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, The Journal of Computer Information Systems, and in The Journal of Systems Management. His research has been presented at various conferences including the International Conference on Information Systems and the Association for Information Systems Americas Conference on Information Systems. Dr. Prabhakar's teaching expertise is in the areas of computer networks and ERP systems. In 2005, he won the The Michael L. Dean Excellence in Classroom Education and Learning (EXCEL) Graduate Teaching Award and in 2007, he won the Daniel J. Westerbeck Graduate Teaching Award.
