B.J. Zirger is currently on sabbatical. Professor Zirger is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management. She teaches undergraduate, MBA and doctoral courses in business and corporate strategy and technology management.
Immediately prior to her sabbatical, she was the interim Director of the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CET&L) at UC. This center supports faculty and graduate students in their teaching mission and focuses on enhancing student learning. Prior to her selection for this position, she had been on the Advisory Board for the Center.
From 2000-2006, Dr. Zirger was the program manager for a $1.5M grant that focused on using technology to enhance business education. With this grant, she fostered the development and implemention of state-of-the-art videoconferencing, videostreaming and web-enhanced course capabilities. These new facilities and competencies led to curricular innovations and new MBA and BBA programs.
